Recognition at the East of England Energy Efficiency Awards
The East of England Energy Efficiency Awards were held on Thursday 22nd May at the prestigious Manor of Groves Hotel, Golf & Country Club in Hertfordshire.
Aran was named Regional Insulation and Fabric Installer Contractor of the Year, an accolade that recognises our ongoing dedication to delivering high-quality, energy-efficient solutions for homes across the East of England.
This award is a testament to the tireless work of our passionate team and the strong partnerships we've built with local authorities, contractors and residents to drive energy efficiency forward.
In addition to our regional win, Aran received several other commendations on the night, showcasing the breadth and impact of our work:
✅ Highly Commended in the Renewable Heat category
✅ Commended in the Large-Scale Project category for our role in the Norfolk Warm Homes HUG2 initiative
✅ Highly Commended in the Large-Scale Project category for supporting Cambridge City Council’s SHDF Wave 2.1 project
These acknowledgements highlight Aran’s strong presence in delivering government-funded schemes aimed at improving home energy performance and tackling fuel poverty.

A Shared Vision for a Low Carbon Future
At Aran, our mission goes far beyond winning awards. Every project we undertake is driven by our core values:
- Delivering greener, more energy-efficient homes
- Working collaboratively with councils, housing providers, contractors and homeowners
- Reducing carbon emissions and lowering household energy bills throughout the region
Our team’s commitment ensures that we not only meet the technical requirements of each project but also provide lasting value to the communities we serve.

Partnering for Impact
The projects recognised at the Energy Efficiency Awards - including those in partnership with Norfolk County Council and Cambridge City Council - are great examples of how collaboration delivers real change.
Our work under the Norfolk Warm Homes HUG2 scheme has enabled vulnerable households to benefit from better insulation and heating systems, dramatically improving comfort and reducing energy costs.
Similarly, under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF Wave 2.1), we’ve helped improve hundreds of homes across Cambridge, installing solid wall insulation and low-carbon technologies that support the city’s climate goals.
We’re incredibly honoured to be recognised, and our congratulations to all the other winners and finalists.
