Contracts Manager - Colchester
The Contracts Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of assigned contracts across energy efficiency measures and associated works.
The role will oversee directly employed and subcontracted installation teams, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, within agreed programmes and in accordance with client specifications and relevant third-party accreditation standards.
Regular site visits will be required to monitor progress, quality and compliance, resolve issues and ensure works are completed to the required standard. The role will also involve managing client relationships, the supply chain, contract documentation and supporting contracts through to completion, handover and invoicing.
Senior Contracts Manager (Site)
The Senior Site Manager is responsible for the operational leadership, coordination and management of larger-scale or geographically dispersed projects across multiple delivery disciplines.
The role will oversee field-based delivery activities across insulation, electrical, ventilation, solar and remediation programmes while working closely with the Senior Contracts Manager – Insulation and Senior Contracts Manager – Electrical Installations to ensure technical standards, programme objectives and operational requirements are achieved.
The successful candidate will lead site-based operational teams including Contracts Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, efficiently and in line with contractual obligations, programme KPIs and client expectations.
Site Supervisor
Working closely with Aran’s Management team, you will provide effective site supervision to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the required specification and third-party accreditation standards. The role involves regular site visits, inspections, audits and site meetings across East Anglia, the South East and Midlands.
You will oversee project progress, resolve on-site issues, support installers and subcontractors, and ensure health, safety and environmental requirements are met. You will also coordinate site handovers, inspections, complaints and the preparation of documentation required for invoicing and project completion.
The role includes supporting field staff, overseeing plant, tools and equipment, carrying out vehicle and warehouse checks, managing servicing and repairs, responding to day-to-day queries and maintaining an organised diary. Additional duties may be required to support the wider operational needs of the business.
Solar Electrician (Cambridgeshire)
The role of the Solar Electrician will be responsible for undertaking installations of Solar PV, Mechanical ventilation and Electric Storage heaters. Together with our team assisting in all paperwork being completed and lodged ensuring full compliance to MCS and Building Regulations.

We are looking for a skilled Roofer to become part of our Roofing Team, responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on pitched roofs. The ideal candidate will be able to recognise roofing problems and offer suitable solutions, while ensuring safety when working at height. You will have the capability to replace and install roof tiles, slates, felt, cement work and leadwork. Install mounting systems and solar PV panels on pitched and flat roofs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of roofing issues.
- Cement work- being able to repair, ridging and verges
- Being able to complete a project from start to finish (eg, knowing what materials need preparing, clean up to leave the site spotless at the end of a project, ensuring the client is left happy, etc).
- Use software to receive, update and close jobs, including uploading photographs and job notes.
- Liaise professionally with residents, clients and colleagues to ensure excellent customer experience.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in line with Aran H&S procedures

The Cavity Wall Extraction Installer will be responsible for the safe and effective removal of existing cavity wall insulation from residential and commercial properties.
The role will involve using specialist extraction equipment and techniques, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with industry standards and company procedures.
The successful candidate will work across a variety of sites and properties, requiring strong attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety.
Good customer service and communication skills are essential, as the role will involve interacting directly with customers, explaining the work, providing updates and professionally addressing any queries or concerns.
The company will provide all necessary training, tools, PPE, uniform, company vehicle and fuel card for company use.
Labourer - Suffolk
The Labourer will work alongside our experienced installation teams, providing practical and general labouring support across all installation measures undertaken by the company.
The role will involve preparing properties and work areas before works begin, assisting with materials and equipment, carrying out preparatory tasks, supporting installers throughout works and ensuring sites are kept clean, tidy and safe.
While the Labourer will support with a range of activities associated with installation works, they will not be responsible for independently completing installations. They will work closely with experienced installers and other team members to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who enjoys practical work and is looking to gain experience within the insulation and energy efficiency industry.
