Green Homes Grant Voucher Scheme

You can now apply for your Green Homes Grant Voucher.

Through this Green Homes voucher homeowners and landlords can access grants for Energy Efficiency upgrades Insulation, including solid wall, cavity wall, underfloor, loft or roof insulation. Low carbon heating, air-source or ground-source heat pumps, or solar thermal for hot water.

If you already have installed, you can use the vouchers to install "top-ups" – for example, additional loft insulation so it reaches the recommended level of 270mm.

While it's not possible to install new gas central heating or upgrade your boiler through this voucher programme you may be entitled to an ECO grant.  ECO grants may also cover the cost of works for Loft and Cavity Wall Insulation. Our team will check to make sure you are applying for the best route for grant funding for you.

There are many energy efficiency measures you can have installed but to ensure that we are providing the highest possible quality installation to all our customers we will only be covering certain regions.

Your voucher could be worth £10,000 toward upgrading your home.

For most homeowners and landlords, the vouchers will be worth about two-thirds of the cost of the energy efficient improvements, up to a maximum of £5,000 per house. Low income homes will be able to access £10,000 to support improvements. In some Local Authorities you may be able to access additional grant funding.
